Initially, you can apply for special leave (see article 57 of the ABU-CAO). If you have a contract phase A with agency clause, your short-term absenteeism and special leave can be used for this. If you have a contract without agency clause, your salary will continue to be paid. Special leave is applicable for the duration of the calamity: this is the time that you need to pick up your children from school or day care and possibly the next day if you are unable to find a babysitter on the short term.
In the future: if you can’t find a babysitter, you will have to take vacation days or unpaid leave in consultation with Charlie works.
