For holidays, written permission must be granted by the client and the employer.
Holidays must be requested at the client with a fully completed holiday application form, after approval the employee must have this form approved by Charlie works.
Other forms of holiday request are not accepted. If no holiday application has been submitted and the employee is not present then this is deemed to be an unauthorized absence. Repeated unauthorized absence can lead to termination of the employment.
Employees can take up to 3 weeks of consecutive holiday or in consultation with the employer for longer, provided this is recorded and submitted in writing.
If the employee does not have sufficient days of leave, unpaid leave can be requested in writing.
The employer has the option to refuse the leave if there is such a substantial business interest that the interest of the employee must give way.
If the employee is employed by a client where, during a certain period, an overall business closure or collective holiday applies, the employee will take his holidays during this period.
In case of applying for special leave, the employee must have submitted this no later than two weeks after the event, for more information about special leave see Article 57 of the ABU collective labor agreement.
