In the Netherlands, having a health insurance is legally required when you live or work in the Netherlands; the health insurance covers medical expenses.
Charlie works offers the employee who does not permanently live in the Netherlands a collective health insurance via Holland Zorg, the basic (nominal) premium for this in 2019 is:
€ 23,59 per week.
The premium for the basic insurance includes No Risk policy. The No Risk policy includes:
• Emergency dental assistance;
• Repatriation due to death or medical necessity;
• Continuation of the health insurance for 30 days after termination of employment, if you have not been able to take out health insurance elsewhere.
Holland Zorg App
The Holland Zorg App can be downloaded for submitting healthcare claims, if declarations are submitted via the app these will be processed by Holland Zorg within 5-10 days.
Declarations can also be submitted through the office, processing when filing through the office takes onger (about 15 days).

When an employee registers for insurance via the employer, he / she receives a policy sheet and healthcare card from the office that the insurer provides.
An E106 form is only provided on request, this request can be submitted to the office.
The early termination of the health insurance is only possible when taking unpaid leave of 4 weeks
