1. The following days are considered generally recognised public holidays, to
the extent that they do not fall on a Saturday or a Sunday:
■ New Year's Day
■ Easter Monday;
■ Ascension Day;
■ Whit Monday;
■ Christmas Day and Boxing Day;
■ King’s Day or holiday in lieu of King’s Day; and
■ Liberation Day every five years.
